We are a private dental office in Tukwila, WA looking for an energetic and cheerful team member to join our clinic full-time. The ideal candidate is hard-working, self-motivated, has the ability to multi-task, and is an effective communicator.
Qualifications/Experience:
Knowledge of dental billing with an understanding of dental insurance verification and coverage
Comfort level and familiarity with technology and software
Integrity and ethical behavior
Excellent time management
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Interact with patients in the reception area during their check-in/wait time as appropriate.
- Schedule appointments in accordance with dental office parameters
- Verify and update patient dental benefits and personal information
- Prepare insurance claims and pre-authorizations and follow up as needed.
- Achieving office goals
- Work collaboratively to develop recommendations for improving operational processes.
- Communicate professionally and friendly with patients in a thorough and timely manner via phone/texts/emails/in person.
- Able to de-escalate difficult conversations and disputes.
- Perform tasks with accuracy and within specified periods
Compensation: $35-48 $/h based on proven experience, with a 90 days performance evaluation and quarterly incentive/performance bonus plan based on performance.

Other:
Patient office hours: Mon, Thu, Fri 8 to 5:30, Tue 8 to 7. One Saturday a month 8 to 4.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
