Role:
We’re seeking a reliable, personable Dental Receptionist who can help keep our front office running smoothly. We’re looking for a customer service dedicated personality that is both professional and friendly. Dental knowledge is preferred but we are willing to train the right person if there is minimal to no experience. Position is 25-40 hrs a week as we are a growing office working to get established in the Renton community.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly
Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-ins
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Contacting insurance companies for benefits
Collecting and posting payments
Sending insurance claims
Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally
Presenting treatment plans and closing cases with payment options
Utilize Open Dental software for patient management and office administration tasks.
Support office management duties including inventory control and supply ordering.
Ensure the front office is organized and well-maintained
Promoting positive office culture
Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized
Detail-oriented
Dental knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
Experience with practice management software is preferred but not mandatory
Strong administrative skills including multitasking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
