Job Description - Boba Barista
Are you passionate about Boba Tea and providing excellent customer service? We are seeking a skilled Seasonal (Spring/Summer, 20+ hours) Boba Barista to join our team for immediate hire. If performance is great, full time position is a consideration!
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of Boba Tea beverages and providing exceptional customer experiences. In addition, you will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the store and inventory management as required. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent experience for our customers.

Boba Barista Responsibilities:
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, taking orders, educating customers on our menu & and making recommendations. Strong customer service skills.
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages to order following standard recipes
- Preparing components of drinks in advance following standard recipes
- Ability to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends & holidays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic math principles for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions
- Experience with operating point-of-sale systems
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food-handling procedures
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of food and beverages
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
