The Rainier Bar and Grill is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager.
Located in charming downtown Enumclaw, The Rainier Bar and Grill has been a staple of the community for the last 20 years. This family-owned and operated, fast-paced restaurant, consistently delivering great food and drinks, is seeking a self-motivated, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join our team.
You’ll oversee all kitchen operations, ensure consistent food quality, manage staff, and help foster a high-performance, team-focused kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire BOH team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Monitor the quality of products and services produced
Maintain high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, safety and sanitary regulations
Adjust daily schedule per events and staffing skills to ensure optimal efficiency
Manage inventory, food costs, and vendor relationships
Recruit, train, and schedule kitchen staff
Collaborate with ownership and FOH managers to deliver quality guest experiences
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or other related fields
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, common food safety practices
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Hands-on leadership style and a calm presence under pressure
