DescriptionShipping & Delivery Support (SDS) is a customer service organization dedicated to creating world class assistance for Amazon’s expanding Logistics products and services. To achieve our mission, we are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Program Manager to be the single threaded owner working across the SDS Operations Empowerment functions to optimize the way we launch new programs and features.This person will represent SDS training, knowledge management and process engineering functions on key initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering and executing against roadmaps, working with internal functional leaders and cross-vertical teams. You will identify and communicate potential project trade-offs and create innovative ways to launch programs quickly. You will design and implement strategies which ensure successful transition of initiatives and deliverables from project to business as usual.This position requires excellent business communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is well-organized, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is intellectually curious. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid business environment with shifting priorities.Key job responsibilities Provide project management and cross-functional assistance on key initiatives Work with Leaders on defining project charters, work back schedules, risk mitigation, and strong reporting mechanisms. Mitigate blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines Influence and manage both peer-level and senior stakeholders Manage expectations and deal with multiple conflicting requirements. 5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

PMP/Prince2 or equivalent certifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
