Key job responsibilitiesBe the product leader for our end to end shopper experience for Sponsored Products Experiences Partner with engineering, ML science, and design to define and execute the strategy and roadmap for improving the performance and customer experience for both our advertisers and our shoppersSuccessfully launch and ramp the product and features World WideOwn the P&L and grow revenue for your area of ownership.Partner with marketing on GTM strategy and plans.Drive research efforts to increase understanding of customer needs.Be the thought leader for the long term strategy on search advertising for the strategic category of Books.Define business metrics and guide the broader display business with data. Represent the quality and growth of creatives in organization-wide business reviews and documents.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
  • 5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience in as many of the following areas: causal inferencing, multi-variate testing & design, A/B testing & design, descriptive analytics, and regression analysis.
  • Good understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning models.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert level knowledge in statistics; sophisticated user of statistical tools.
  • Experience processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities (hundreds of millions/billions of rows) of data
  • Experience in data applications using large scale distributed systems (e.g. EMR, Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Pig, and Hive).
  • Broad knowledge of f ML methods, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Combination of deep technical skills and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within our customer's organization.
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to advocate technical solutions for science, engineering, and business audiences.
  • Ability to develop experimental and analytical plans for data modeling, use effective baselines, and accurately determine cause-and-effect relations.
  • Experience in computational advertising is a plus.
