Our team is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neurosciences & Renal TransplantProgressive Care Unit. Our RNs are trained to care for highly acute neuro progressive patients.The patient population on this unit includes but is not limited to: post-op craniotomies, complex spine surgeries, acuteischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, and kidney transplants, seizure disorders.Working in PNCU is a wonderful opportunity for nurses interested in the critical care career path.Our unit is an environment in which progressive, career-minded nurses feel challenged,rewarded and valued in a supportive setting. Provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status.
Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals
Prepare the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care
Caring for patients with lumbar drains, arterial lines, vasoactive medications, and bedside telemetry monitoring.
“We deliver inspired people to do meaningful work.”QualificationsQualifications● A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for thisposition.● CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.● Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.● One year of Acute Care, or Medical Surgical experience required.● Transplant and/or Neurology & Neurosurgery experience preferred.● Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington StateBoard of Nursing.● Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
