DescriptionAs an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing, building and managing our internal communications initiatives to support a steady flow of information and updates both within the Amazon Ads, IMDb, and Grand Challenge (AIGC) organization and broadly across Amazon. As part of the AIGC and WW Amazon Stores Internal Communications team, you will serve as a program manager for the internal communications mechanisms serving the AIGC and WW Amazon Stores organizations, and will develop robust editorial calendars, audience segmentation strategies and measurement reporting. You will have excellent writing, editing and communications skills and the ability to work backwards from the internal customer to put forward a professional, clear, consistent message. The ideal candidate must possess talent for collaboration, have the ability to flex when needed, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business to deliver the most important information to employees.Key job responsibilities

Work with partners across the business and global comms teams to source and deliver communications and original content focused on employee experiences and Amazon’s culture

Grow and develop global internal communications programs to support AIGC priorities and strategy.

Provide internal communications support and counsel to AIGC business partners

Build and leverage internal communications tools including: meetings, wikis, newsletters, email, video and more to engage employees.

Manage communications feedback gathering and new reporting and measurement mechanisms.

5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

Experience in the high-tech or digital advertising industries

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Comfort collaborating with global teams

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market.
