Jules Maes Saloon is Seattle’s oldest bar, featuring a 100 capacity performance venue and event space, full bar and restaurant. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Event Coordinator and Social Media Marketer to join our team and support the growth of our historic Georgetown staple! Knowledge of local Seattle music and arts scene is a must!

As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and coordinating events with exceptional attention to detail. This includes community outreach, interfacing with artists, maintaining our internal and public events calendar, building tickets, and organizing and communicating details to staff for private and public events. You’ll work with our owner, head chef, and partnering event producers to continue to perfect processes for catering, private parties, and public events like live music/drag/burlesque shows, sports viewings, and other community gatherings.

As our Social Media Manager, you will work with bar and kitchen staff to create content highlighting our food and drink offerings and to plan promotions. You will also collect assets and post about upcoming events, and work with outside partners to plan and promote large group televised viewings of sporting events.

About the Role:

Address booking inquiries with clients via email, phone, and in person.

Organize event set-up, timelines, staffing and catering details for each event.

Make print orders, gather and distribute posters.

Collect upcoming payments and event details on time.

All other duties as assigned based on the needs of the client and team.

Hire and train door staff.

About You:

2+ years of event coordination and social media content creation.

Strong ties to the Seattle music/arts/entertainment scene.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with high proficiency in Google Suite and social media platforms.

An in-depth understanding of event execution processes.

Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.

Pay: $22.00-25.00 per hour

Schedule:

20 hours/week with possibility of additional hours during busy seasons

Nights and weekends as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Seattle, WA 98108 - some on site work required
