Summary: Meta is looking for a results-driven Accessories Category Manager for our Mixed Reality Category Management team, which includes the Meta Quest portfolio across retail, telco, direct-to-consumer, and commercial channels. This role is focused on delivering sales results and driving growth through developing category and channel strategies – aligned to a plan, execute, monitor & manage framework. Primary responsibilities include the development of the Go-to-Channel strategy, analysis of category performance, and leading multi-channel, multi-regional communication with a focus on accessories product launches.The right candidate will possess a strategic mindset with a drive for results – as well as have the ability to effectively and proactively communicate cross functionally. In addition, this person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, and have experience leading a team to consistently deliver sales performance. This role involves extensive collaboration and communication with cross-functional stakeholders to executive leadership to ensure successful development of the pricing, promotional, operational, and sales strategy for the Mixed Reality category.Required Skills: Category Manager - Mixed Reality Accessories NPI Responsibilities:

Develop Go-to-Channel strategy for MR Accessories intended for the 3rd party retail, direct-to-consumer, carrier, and B2B commercial channels.

Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing stakeholders on the strategy for launching and sustaining accessories products by being the “voice of the partner” through the product development process.

Partner with sales and demand planners to provide early estimate forecasting and revenue for each program and across the portfolio.

Drive alignment on key channel objectives and strategies for the category and products with Product Marketing and Channel Account teams, globally.

Communicate key issues and opportunities to cross-functional teams to influence overall portfolio strategy, pricing, packaging and product decisions in the category.

Maintain a strong knowledge and awareness of the category, industry and competitive trends.

Deliver regular Category updates to the core sales team inclusive of NPI status, category insights and cross-functional alignments.

Synthesize and deliver feedback from the field as the voice of the partner to Product Marketing and Product Management.

Support the MRIn-Market Performance Accessories Manager in creating and managing category strategies on a quarterly cadence & deliver category marketing presentations to executive teams and cross-functional partners.

Influence and partner with cross-functional teams to drive MR accessories adoption through key initiatives and special projects.

Deliver executive level understanding and awareness of distribution channel dynamics and strategic partner capabilities regarding the MR accessories category.

Develop and align core KPIs, measurements and tactics alignment across cross-functional teams that achieve business objectives.

Leverage sales analytics data to help with improving the efficiency of partner strategies and execution tactics.

Drive strategic category thought leadership internally and with strategic partners at various levels from individual contributors to executives.

Travel requirements: 20%

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Finance and Analytics or some relevant combination

Partner facing experience including resellers and large enterprise accounts.

Presentation skills and the experience to present to leadership levels

Experience understanding levers for driving change by channel, share and revenue in the category (e.g. on price, shelf presence, display, feature, promotions, convenience etc.)

Advanced skill with either Google Sheets and Slides or Excel and PowerPoint

Master’s degree/MBA

Experience with multi-channel business, inclusive of consumer electronics retail, commercial, optical and direct to consumer channels across online.

Experience adapting and supporting the organization through times of change

Experience precisely and proficiently conducting business and data analyses with data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements

Experience building various levels of strong ongoing customer and organizational relationships

Exceptional problem solving, project and program management skills

Experience understanding, translating and mapping strategic business and competitive priorities into analysis and deliver insights

Deeply values collaboration and experience communicating across varied stakeholders and influence without authority

Experience dealing with ambiguity, navigating through uncertain situations and quickly adapt to change

Experience with hardware, supply chain and multiple channels preferred
