Accountant II

Description We are in search of a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington, United States. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing and conducting account reconciliations, preparing state and local tax returns, providing oversight for all intercompany funds, transactions, and obligations. This role is not temporary or contract-based.Responsibilities: Oversee and perform account reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Carry out bank reconciliations Reconcile the fixed asset ledger to the General Ledger, including additions, disposals, and transfers Assist with audit schedules and tax form 990 preparation Collaborate to provide data for grant applications Manage lease accounting for concessionaires and track endowment balances Understand the data flow of all revenue streams and enter standard month-end transactions Provide electronic media reporting Collaborate with other team members and maintain segregation of duties.The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000.Benefits:Medical/Dental/VisionLife and AD& DLTD/STD403b10 days PTO + 2 personal daysYour birthday off10 day sick time11 paid holidays Requirements Possess expertise in Account Reconciliation Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Proficient in Bank Reconciliations Must have experience with General Ledger Ability to create and manage Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience in Month End Close activities Understands and can manage Fixed Asset Ledger Able to prepare Audit Schedules Familiarity with Tax - Form 990 Experience in preparing Tax Returns Proficiency in Lease Accounting Understands and can manage Endowments Experience in Revenue Accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
