Position Information:

The Construction Project Coordinator collaborates with the Design & Construction Manager(s) to coordinate and support the completion of school construction projects. This position manages construction projects by completing various assigned work projects to ensure compliance with contracts and industry standards. This position achieves construction project goals while following safe, cost-effective, and high-quality work standards.

Shift Details: 8 hours per day/ 260 days per year /Multiple Positions

Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hourly Rate / Salary: $107,077 (Annual)

Position Type/Level: Professional Technical Employee Level - G

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in architectural design, interior design, engineering design, construction management, construction science, or similar field.

Three to four (3-4) years of work experience in an architectural, engineering, construction, or construction management firm (or similar public agency).

Work experience with general construction sites.

Must have a reliable method of transportation to travel to various locations within the Puget Sound region; and,

Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License; and,

A satisfactory driving record. Individuals may not be eligible for employment due to an unsatisfactory driving record, which includes, but is not limited to: suspended/revoked licenses, drug/alcohol violations, reckless driving infractions, being at fault in an accident resulting in a fatality, etc.

Licenses/Special Requirements:

Must have a reliable method of transportation to travel to various locations within the Puget Sound region; and,

Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License; and,

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction work is preferred.

Master’s degree in architectural design, construction management, construction science, or similar field.

Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by employees who work at least 3.50 hours per day in a continuing position.
