Our office is growing and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding team. We're seeking a passionate, self-driven person with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives to fill our full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answering any questions our clients may have. As our newest team member, you will sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers while helping individuals, families, and small businesses secure their tomorrows. Industry knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers initially for this position. Prior experience in the insurance industry, mortgage industry, or banking/ financial services will be shown preference.

Job description includes, but not limited to:

Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations to clients, and closes sales.

Process customer policy change requests.

Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.

Document each customer contact in system.

Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Take premium payments from customers.

Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Return all phone messages promptly.

Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.

Maintain knowledge of new products.

Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.

Provide exceptional customer service.

Be outstanding at relationship building.

Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.

Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.

Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.

Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone

Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy

Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred

No insurance experience required but must be willing to get state license within 30 days of employment.
