TITLE: Airline Support Specialist

LOCATION: Seattle, WA (onsite)

RATE: up to 25 an hour per hour depending on experience

SCHEDULE: 4 pm – 2 am c(Must be able to work weekends and holidays).

If selected for the position, you will be flown to NY for 4 weeks of training. Transportation and accommodation will be paid for along with a meal stipend.

We are seeking candidates with strong customer service experience preferably in the airline or hospitality industries. The right candidates for this role will have a mature attitude with strong computer skills and a passion for listening and providing solutions for their customers. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and having the opportunity to learn new skills and software.

In this role you will be trained in all technical tools and processes to assist you in becoming successful in this role. You will become an instrumental part of a team that works together to identify, analyze, and resolve challenges to the benefit of all parties.

Description

Serve as on-site liaison with the airline partner, providing support.

Process client requests received through system.

Assess customer needs and respond in a timely and professional manner.

Follow-up on all client requests and transactions to ensure client satisfaction.

Escalate items of critical nature that require management involvement

Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best outcome for the client and company.

Resolve client disagreements in a calm and professional manner.

Research and present solutions to satisfy client needs based on facts.

Effectively use phone, email, fax, and Reservation Systems to track and provide solutions.

Adapt to needs arising from the changing dynamics of schedules and unforeseen situations.

Learn and maintain knowledge of work methods and systems to provide high level customer service.

Achieve and maintain passing score on initial and ongoing training.

Requirements:

Prior Customer Service experience in a fast paced call center environment.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Excellent Interpersonal skills with professional telephone etiquette.

Available to work extended hours.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent computer skills,

Willingness to learn and successfully apply skills throughout ongoing training.

Open to hearing constructive feedback.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have :

Second language. Prior experience with hotel reservation systems, and airline reservation systems.

Knowledge of airline crew scheduling is a strong plus.
