South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Fiscal Analyst 3 (In-Training). This is an in-training opportunity and may be hired as a Fiscal Analyst 2 or a Fiscal Analyst 3 depending on qualifications. The Fiscal Analyst 3 In-Training reports directly to the Executive Human Resources Officer and is one of a team of seven in the Human Resources Office. The Fiscal Analyst prepares and maintains payroll records, compiles and ensures the accuracy of reports and takes corrective action as necessary to correct errors. The Fiscal Analyst Interprets varying institutional, state and federal regulations and applies those to the payroll function. The Fiscal Analyst works with college departments to resolve payroll questions and problems.

If hired into a Fiscal Analyst 2, the employee will begin a training plan to move into a Fiscal Analyst 3 upon gaining experience and expertise, completing key competencies, and mastering upper level duties which will be evaluated by both the Executive Director and Assistant Director as outlined in the job description.
