The Stormwater Department is hiring! We are looking for an individual who is excited to maintain and repair the stormwater system and keep up with all regulations and requirements to keep the City system running smoothly. We are ready to train and teach the right person for the job when they bring a positive and willing attitude to learn and be part of the mission of the City.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Apprentice level is an entry level position that performs assigned duties under direct supervision.
Journey level employees are generally specialized in the operation, maintenance and repairs of the stormwater system and can accomplish most routine tasks with minimal direction or supervision.
Senior level operators are more technically advanced and may serve in a lead capacity in their specific area or in other interdepartmental specialties as assigned.
