The City of Moscow is hiring for multiple seasonal positions within our Public Works and Services Departments. These positions are up to full-time hours from May-October but depending on the department there is flexibility on hours and length of time available to work.

The open positions include:
Aquatic Maintenance Worker: Assist pool maintenance duties; including chemical testing and dosing, maintaining vegetation and landscaped areas, and performing routine maintenance in and around the Hamilton Lowe Aquatic Center.
Parks Maintenance Worker: Perform grounds maintenance duties; including maintaining City parks, playgrounds, greenways, paths, ball fields, and all other vegetation and landscaped areas, as well as, routine maintenance of assigned tools and equipment. Perform a variety of duties in maintenance, repair, turf care, and janitorial. Work to include but not limited to assisting with construction, ballfield maintenance, equipment operation and repair, irrigation installation and repair, weed control, and grounds/building maintenance of city parks and facilities. Specialized tasks to include pesticide application and tree work.
Street Maintenance Worker: Perform duties in the maintenance and repair of City streets, signs, and traffic control systems; operate a variety of equipment including some heavy duty and hand and power tools. Seasonal level is an entry level position that performs assigned duties under direct supervision. Assist with the full range of construction, maintenance, and repair duties in the Streets Division.
Stormwater Operator: Maintains and repairs the stormwater system to include all appurtenances; assures the stormwater is conveyed through the system.
Fleet Detailer: Assist in Fleet maintenance duties; including primarily, washing and detailing vehicles at the City Shop and various other City Departments. Performs the full range of detailing and vehicle cleaning.
