Part-time, year-round Parks Assistant needed for Jefferson County Parks & Recreation. Join our supportive, professional, and friendly team in our efforts to present the best possible parks, campgrounds, athletic fields, and facilities throughout Jefferson County. We operate 22 parks including places like Memorial Field, HJ Carroll, Gibbs Lake, Oak Bay Campground, and Lake Leland to name a few. The work involves parks and facility maintenance of all types such as trail maintenance, mowing, string trimming, cleaning, and landscaping. The work is rewarding and mostly outdoors.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED & WA State Drivers License; experience operating power tools & landscape & lawn care equipment & driving a pickup truck. Must be able to operate hand tools, stand & walk for up to 8 hrs & willing to work outdoors in varying weather. This Clerk Hire position works up to 69 hrs/month; may work weekends.
Salary: $21.00/hr, no benefits.
