Road Maintenance Tech II or III: Jefferson County Public Works is seeking applicants for Road Maintenance Technician II and III position(s). Duties include using various trucks and equipment to repair pavement surfaces, clean ditches and culverts, plow snow, trim trees, cut brush and grass, etc. Job requires physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions & after-hours callouts for emergency or storm-related events.
Minimum: high school diploma or GED, 2 years’ road maintenance or similar experience, Class A CDL preferred.
Compensation:
Tech II Teamsters Grade A5-B, full pay range: $25.61-$30.60 per hour, DOE.
Tech III Teamsters Grade A5-C, full pay range: $28.23-$33.76 per hour, DOE.
