Description Open to recent grads! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about payroll processing, compliance, and accuracy.Job Responsibilities:Payroll Processing:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salary, benefits, bonuses, and other adjustments.

Compliance:

Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.

Prepare and maintain employee payroll files.

Data Verification:

Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy.

Address and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Reporting:

Generate payroll-related reports for management as needed.

Provide support for internal and external audits related to payroll.

Employee Inquiries:

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

Assist employees with any payroll-related issues or concerns.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the payroll function.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Certification:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
