SLR International Corporation has an immediate opportunity for a Project-level Scientist or Engineer to join our growing operations in the Charleston, West Virginia or in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related scientific field. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience related to air quality and compliance consulting. This position will offer support to new and existing air quality and compliance projects in the Appalachian region. Required Technical Skills and Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related scientific field

Minimum of 3 years of experience related to air quality and compliance consulting

Excellent technical writing skills

Effective time management of multiple project tasks

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software

Possess a valid driver's license

Ability to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel

Ability to visit industrial and manufacturing facilities

Self-motivated, requiring limited oversight on common tasks

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Process Modeling Software Experience (PROMax)

Experience with AutoCad Software

Understanding of budgets and deadlines

Pro-active in seeking work tasks

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Sampling at Industrial sites

Oversight of Subcontractors at Industrial sites

Collect data from Industrial sites and interact with clients in order to evaluate facility parameters.

Assist clients with compliance programs.

Solicit work from SLR project managers.

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
