CAZ is hiring a Lead Carpenter with at least 5 years of experience in residential construction to run projects in the field. High end finish work a plus. The work includes kitchen and bath remodels, new construction, and renovations.
Duties
· Create a safe, professional work environment for team members, clients and the public.
· Interact with customers in a polite, professional manner.
· Perform all aspects of carpentry from framing to finish.
· Work with project manager to complete jobs as assigned.
· Supervise apprentice crew members.
· Safely and efficiently use power tools including chop saws, drills, table saws, and hand tools.
· Lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 60 pounds).
· Assist other team members as needed.
· Safely drive a company truck through narrow, hilly residential streets.
· Maintain accurate paperwork.
· Carry out written and verbal instructions.
· Other duties as assigned.
Experience needed:
· At least 5 years of carpentry experience including running jobs
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Strong record of jobsite safety, happy clients and great communication
· Ability to pass a drug test; CAZ Construction is a drug free workplace
· Safety certifications are a plus (competent person, OSHA 40, first aid, etc)
Pay
$35 to $45 per hour DOE. Four-day work week. 5 weeks PTO. Employer-paid health insurance. Employer-matched retirement program.
