The Filling Station in Sunnyland, is looking to hire for an opening line cook position. Full or Part time work available. Typical shifts available in 5 to 7 hour increments.
Applicants should have the availability to work Thursday - Sunday; 8-9am until 2-3pm.
The Filling Station is looking to fill a breakfast/lunch line cooking position that keeps up on preparation throughout the shift, catching up on dishes at the end.
The Filling Station's line runs a crews of 2 to 4 cooks at any given time, the position is part of a team effort. Applicants should feel comfortable cooking a few tickets on their own, during low business volume times, while prep tasks, or dishes are being handled by other cooks.
Prior work as a breakfast cook, or experience cooking eggs-to-order preferred. However if you want to learn eggs, have been cooking for a time, and want to transition into a steady breakfast/lunch gig, don't hesitate to apply.
We have a fast paced kitchen environment and work together as a team. Working well with other employees is a must! We are looking for someone that communicates well with both Front of house and Back of house staff and can stay cool under pressure. Applicants should be able to take direction well, execute tasks in a timely manner, have an eye for detail, and exhibit consistency in both their product and attendance. Applicants must be cooperative and willing to accept other kitchen and restaurant duties if necessary.
Must have a valid Washington State Food Handlers card. Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
For the positions currently advertised (experience depending) Pay range starts at minimum $16.50/hour plus tips and ends at $19.00/hour plus tips. Tips in the past, average out to be between $4-$6 an hour.
