Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Bellevue, Washington. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the telecom industry and primarily involves processing invoices, matching, batching, and coding. You will also be tasked with monitoring the accounts payable inbox and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Maintain and manage customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate Utilize Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks Online for various tasks and functions Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations Adhere to all company policies and regulations relating to accounts payable Support other team members and departments as necessary to ensure overall company success.Requirements Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Proficient in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Quickbooks Online Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate data analysis Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in an accounts payable role would be advantageous.
