Caregiver needed for adult male 21 years of age with intellectual disability. He is nonverbal but does respond to yes/no questions. Duties would include assistance with toileting (incontinent), meal preparation, grooming, hygiene, dressing, possibly bathing if circumstances warranted. Although ambulatory, he does need assistance on stairs and getting in and out of bathtub so some physicality is required. Other duties may include an occasional load of his laundry and/or light housekeeping in his space.
This is a part time position, up to 30 hours a week that may include evening or weekend hours. Hourly rate of $17.27 which will be paid by the state so non-negotiable. Am willing to work out a schedule with right candidate for the position. Applicant must be able to pass state background check.
