Job Title: Day Shift Material HandlerJob DescriptionAs a Material Handler, you will primarily work in the unloading and receiving department, managing the flow of incoming products. Your responsibilities include unloading freight from 18-wheelers, palletizing labeled materials, and operating the conveyance system. You may also engage in cross-dock functions, moving products directly to shipping. This role requires handling and processing freight safely, maintaining a clean work area, and potentially writing reports or documenting processes. You will spend most of your day near the dock, engaging in significant lifting and loading activities.Hard Skills

Work EnvironmentThe distribution center is over one million square feet and is not climate controlled, which may lead to hot conditions in the summer and dusty environments. The work is physically demanding with a lot of lifting and loading. Dress code requires shorts no more than 6 inches above the knee, covered heels and toes, and shirts without large logos or offensive language.
