Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionSeeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team, responsible for unloading, handling, and processing freight in a safe and cautious manner. You will manage freight flow by moving and unloading freight manually. This includes working primarily in the Unloading and Receiving department but also requires flexibility to work in the Shipping department as needed. Responsibilities also include identifying, separating, counting, combining, and scanning freight using a Warehouse Management System terminal, scales, and scanners. You will be tasked with maintaining a clean work area, reporting any unsafe conditions or damaged products, and potentially writing reports.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a busy, non-climate controlled distribution center. It involves labor-intensive tasks, primarily near the dock with considerable lifting and loading. The center spans over one million square feet and can be hot during summer months. Movement and walking vary by department. Dress code requires longer shorts, covered heels and toes, with no large logos or offensive prints on clothing. Safety vests are mandatory.Shift and Pay
Tuesday- Friday 5am-2:30pm - $20/hr.
Tuesday- Friday 4:30pm-2:30am - $21.35/hr.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday - $22.35/hr. (12 hour shift )
