Chef/Back of House Manager

Richmond Restaurant Group is hiring a salaried Chef/Back of House Manager. This role requires the chef to work at various locations within the restaurant group depending on volume and staffing needs, upholding all standards and oftentimes operating as the BOH manager on the shift if the location's resident chef is not there.

The candidate must have prior experience managing a kitchen or being in a lead role, be comfortable on all stations including grill, sauté and pantry. Sushi and raw bar experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with ordering, scheduling and inventory will be expected, but some training in these areas will be provided.

The ideal candidate is responsible and self driven, punctual and organized, with strong communication skills. Flexibility and the ability to switch gears on short notice are key. If you are a self starter that prefers a change of scenery to always being in the same location, this may be the position for you.
