Description Are you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is looking for a long-term contract / contract position? Robert Half is currently trying to fill this position with a candidate that wants to become a crucial part in a team environment. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Richmond, Virginia, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / contract opening.Major responsibilities
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Provide support during internal and external audits
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Carry out additional projects as required Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Finance required
Less than one year of experience required
High attention to detail
Proven knowledge of commercial real estate
Comprehensive knowledge of MRI
Expertise in Commercial Property Management
Foundational knowledge in Real Estate Accounting
Strong familiarity with property accounting
Microsoft Excel experience
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
