Director II Sales SupportLocation:  This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA or Roanoke, VA.The Director II Sales Support is responsible for directing and developing sales support activities for multiple areas.How you will make an impact:

Manages multiple sales support areas which may include broker call center, sales support staff, sales training and technology, broker administration, proposals, product development, or material distribution.

Provides advanced support to all internal and external sales.

Identifies best practices and implements processes.

Develops sales support business plan. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Manages the health and wellness team

Develops strategies for team to promote the value of clinical programs to clients and brokers

Works closely with sales team on approaches to retain existing clients and sell new clients

Collaborates with local plan medical directors to improve health behaviors and health status of the plan membership

Works with product and marketing to develop new and innovative health and wellness products and resources

Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Health/managed care experience required.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

Excellent tactical planning, organizational, and negotiating skills strongly preferred.

Understanding of matrix organization preferred.

Strong presentation skills preferred.

Ability to set direction, motivate a team and influence others preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management skills preferred.
