Description We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be a part of our team. Located in Glen Allen, Virginia, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Your primary responsibilities will be to research and reconcile complex corporate customer accounts, manage collections of past due balances, and liaise with customers and other departments to resolve any account issues. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research and reconciliation of corporate accounts, using various systems and sources for data gathering and obtaining supporting documentation. Collaborate with other departments and customers to identify and resolve any discrepancies and reconciling items. Recommend process improvements to reduce or eliminate discrepancies and reconciling items. Contribute to the ongoing cleanup of existing corporate accounts and maintain a steady state. Develop relationships to facilitate the collections of accounts receivable and resolving internal/external issues preventing timely payment. Manage customer disputes to resolution and document root cause. Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to invoice inquiries, proof of delivery, and statement requests. Review purchase orders, contracts, and other agreements to determine proper invoice and account setup. Assist with decision-making on escalations and collectability of accounts; recommend write-offs or legal actions as warranted. Actively participate and communicate in team-based work groups. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Billing, Rejection Reports, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Should have a solid background in handling billing processes Experience in generating and analyzing Rejection Reports is necessary Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Must have a comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable functions within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks is required Should be able to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance Knowledge of other accounting software and systems will be considered an advantage A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
