We are looking for a front office assistant for a busy medical practice. Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as strong attention to detail are important. Experience in the medical field with knowledge of dealing with insurance companies and the billing process is necessary. Office management experience including accounting and account receivables is a plus. You will be a strong contributor to the team in delivering exceptional customer care.
Preferred Experiences:
Knowledge of Eye Care Ophthalmology or Optometry Environment
Experience with Medical Practice Management Software
Experience with Medical billing or Healthcare Administration
Office Computer skills Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience with Seniors
Responsibilities:
Assisting Business Manager with a variety of tasks.
Managing AR
Processing insurance information, confirm eligibility, etc
Interaction with Insurance Companies via web or phone
Manage patient office flow
Schedule/confirm appointments
Filing/faxing/mailing/scanning documents
Answer phone calls, emails, other messages
Posting Payments
