Looking for a female caregiver who is a NON smoker for a healthy and very active 29-year-old quadriplegic female with a spinal cord injury. Duties include helping out with daily living tasks such as getting ready for the day, incontinence care, hygiene, grooming, cooking, light cleaning, running errands, going to appointments, ect.
Skills and responsibilities:
Individual with compassionate, patient, understanding, caring nature with strong communication skills.
Must be very responsible and reliable, be on time to work so have reliable transportation and valid drivers license and absolutely NO drug tolerance.
Physical stamina to be able to lift, dress, and transfer the patient.
Training will be given. Vehicle to do errands in will be provided.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND HAVE TO INCLUDE AT LEAST THREE PREVIOUS WORK REFERENCES (THEY WILL BE CHECKED).
Previous experience in patient care and CNA is highly preferred.
Has to be okay with pets (One large dog, one small dog) they are very friendly and would need help with them
This would be a private direct care case, but a W-2 will be provided for you and you would be enrolled in a biweekly payroll.
Full-time and part-time weekend shifts available!
Full-time schedule:
Mon 9am-5:30pm
Tues 9am-5:30pm
Wed 1pm-5:30pm
Thurs 9am-5:30pm
Fri 9am-5:30pm
Part-time schedule:
Sat 9am-3pm
Sun 1:30pm-6pm
