Essential Job Functions:
Serve as a primary point of contact for Crescent transitions, and travel to new hotel openings to represent Crescent People & Culture.
Support and assist hiring managers with recruiting strategies and help to identify candidates for open roles, while adhering to Crescent's hiring processes.
Fill a People & Culture need in any market that requires additional assistance. In hotels with a vacancy in the People & Culture department, serve as the temporary P&C Director for the day-to-day operations on property.
Conduct Crescent training programs during transition period and other trainings as needed.
Travel to new hotels transitioning into the Crescent portfolio to onboard new associates, conduct training, and roll out Crescent policies on property.
Create an atmosphere of being the employer of choice while at the hotel by ensuring new associates are welcomed and supported during transition.
Support & coordinate all Crescent People & Culture initiatives & business practices.
Utilize extensive People & Culture knowledge to maintain associate relations and troubleshoot any issues on property.
Work within the Corporate People & Culture to create strategy and business practices to enhance transitions/trainings.
Provide recommendations and overview of any issues on property when transition hotel over to Regional People & Culture Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three to five years’ experience as a Hotel People & Culture (Human Resources) Director
Previous Labor Relations experience
Extensive knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resource matters.
Thorough knowledge of Human Resource practices and procedures.
Available to travel up to 90% of the time.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
Strong knowledge of New York, California, and Illinois state laws strongly preferred.

The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience at a Corporate HR Director level with multi-site/multi-state HR experience within the hospitality industry.
