Our work depends on a Cloud Solution Architect joining our team to assist our customer and their mission owners in providing support to provision cloud services, migrate cloud infrastructures, and modernize cloud strategies and/or applications to cloud-native architectures.HOW AN CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Serves as the senior SME for architecting and delivering cloud hosting solutions.

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing systems.

Assist with the Cloud SMO Strategy and roadmap.

Provides senior expertise to teams for application migration/modernization assessments.

Evaluate and identify cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the onboarding requirements of mission owners.

Participate in engagement assessments that include cloud deployment type (public/hybrid), cloud providers, cloud services, and application dependencies to create customer deliverables, including design documentation and system diagrams.

Facilitate and lead solution discussions with customer.

Provide guidance in infrastructure migration techniques.

Maintain an understanding of advancing cloud capabilities, IT, and business needs, while identifying and proposing functional efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Minimum Education :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business/finance.

Minimum Technical Experience :

Ten (10) years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in the cloud environment.

Experience in solutions development and application using well-architected cloud frameworks, services, and technologies.

Demonstrated expertise in developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical and process documentation.

Demonstrated experience with at least some of the following cloud providers working in a multicloud environment: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience with at least some of the following DevOps tools: GitHub, GitLab, Rancher, Istio, Tanzu Application Platform, Appian, PegaSoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce.

Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new and changing technology.

Certification(s):

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification (or higher) is required prior to support on contract.

Cloud Architecture Certification from a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal (verbal, written, listening and non-verbal communication) skills.

Ability to develop Cloud Deployment Architectures

Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.

Experience working with Agile/SCRUM, writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance.

DoD/Navy experience is a plus.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
