The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.In this role, a typical day will include: Supports members of the architecture team to complete integration with required core services, system security plan and existing infrastructure. Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development. Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions. Substantial experience architecting, designing, engineering, integrating, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions and implementing security controls. Works with cloud implementation and operations teams to resolve cloud architecture issues. Requires substantial experience designing, integrating, and implementing complex cloud solutions and services.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThis position requires eight (8) years of experience.No Degree and 1 relevant Cloud Service Provider Certification - 13 years of related experienceMA/MS and 1 relevant Cloud Service Provider Certification - 6 years of related experienceDemonstrated expertise in technical leadership of Cloud Readiness Assessment and Disposition, Defining Target State Cloud Architecture and roadmap, Migration of on-premise legacy systems, and Operations and continued Modernization of Hybrid Cloud hosted infrastructure and applications.Experience in providing Analysis of Alternatives for data tools and capabilities from various on premise, Cloud-based, and hybrid resourcesExperience with migration of at least one on-premise mainframe Legacy System to AWS is must.Expert knowledge of Cloud Data Architecture and Strategy, Data Management, Transformation, Migration of Database and Data to AWS using Cloud Native Services, Open-Source and Industry products,Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps methodologies.Certifications (Mandatory): AWS Solutions Architect - AssociateCertifications (Preferred): AWS Solutions Architect - ProfessionalWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU
