At ManTech International, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team supporting a large U. S. Government program in Huntsville Alabama or the National Capital Region.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design, architect, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) across multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).

Oversee the ongoing maintenance and management of VPCs, including backups, patching, upgrades, and developer workstations.

Monitor the performance and security of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure best practices.

Develop and implement automation scripts and templates using tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment and configuration processes.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the security posture of the cloud infrastructure, addressing any vulnerabilities or risks.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Prepare and deliver presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and management to communicate project updates, recommendations, and findings.

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of (8) eight years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and implementation.

Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Experience with managing and maintaining Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and associated services.

Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

Clearance Requirements:

Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
