DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide SETA support to SAIC’s Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.Job responsibilities include:
Work closely with technical and management personnel to conduct enterprise and system-level software architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and documentation
Facilitate development and assessment of systems architecture models and products, including acquisition and management documentation and guidance
Guide stakeholders in preparing, authoring, and implementing management plans and white papers on topics related to architecture and systems engineering
Coordinate mission engineering activities across multiple space system offices
Facilitate development and assessment of systems architecture models and products, including acquisition and management documentation and guidance
Evaluate and recommend improvements to architectural product deliverables and development contractor proposed solutions
Develop briefings and documentation material for client engagements and products
Assist the client in performing day-to-day technical and non-technical program execution activities
Communicate strategies, plans, summaries, successes, concerns, issues, and lessons learned with leadership
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph
Experience accessing and evaluating complex software-intensive systems and making recommendations to management about incorporating systems into the enterprise architecture
Familiarity with IC and/or DoD space and ground architectures and systems
Experience developing and maintaining Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) models and artifacts
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Experience in software development or related technical domains is a plus.
Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills, with ability to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences
