Survey Technician/Sr Survey Technician

Timmons Group is currently seeking a Survey Technician/Sr Survey Technician to join our Survey Group located in our Ashburn, VA office location. The Survey Technician assists in application of principles, methods and techniques of land surveying by performing the duties below.Essential duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Research of legal recordsPreparation of cadastral, existing conditions and subdivision maps from field and office data using AutoCAD Civil Series softwareWorking closely and collaboration with a dynamic team of experienced  professionalsQuality controlEducation and/or Experience Bachelor or Associate degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, Geospatial Information Sciences or related field or a minimum of three years of progressive survey field experienceExperience working with GPS and 3D laser scanning a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills
