PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire & life safety systems .
Perform preventative maintenance – Inspect, clean, calibrate, and replace parts to optimize performance.
Monitor equipment & make real-time adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee facility maintenance – From structural upkeep to furniture repairs.
Manage inventory & purchasing – Keep tools, materials, and supplies organized and available.
Work with computers & Excel – Log maintenance activities, track performance, and ensure compliance.
Oversee vendor work – Ensure outside contractors deliver quality work at fair prices.
Prioritize safety & compliance – Follow OSHA and safety regulations to keep workspaces hazard-free.
What We’re Looking For:High School Diploma or Equivalent8-10 years of experience in commercial facility maintenanceHands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAbility to analyze and resolve complex building system issuesEPA 608 Type II CertificationProficiency in Word, Excel, and maintenance tracking softwareStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications (Bonus Points! ):EPA 608 Universal CertificationTrades Schooling in Electrical System Design, Refrigeration, or HVACWhy Join Us?
