This position requires analyzing the current power and non-power equipment specifications across all fuel types and set the overall strategic vision for fleet standardization to limit variances in fleet. This position will own the first article and pilot build process and ensure a high bar for fleet standardization. This position will also own the fleet remarketing strategy. They strive consistently to excel on highest standards in Amazon to increase customer satisfaction by providing fast, reliable world-class services. The successful candidate will have extensive fleet experience, deep knowledge of fleet standards, strong project management skills, operations management experience combined with analytical knowledge and is comfortable facilitating ideas and working from concept to execution.Key job responsibilities
Set up the overall strategic vision for fleet standardization across all power and non-power asset types in Middle Mile.
Focus on robust processes with an emphasis on long term structural improvements versus short term scrappy fixes.
Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and / or other data management systems) and perform analysis to ensure fleet data standards are being met.
Build a first article and pilot build strategy to drive fleet standardization in Middle Mile.
Communicates across various teams to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program.
Works within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of commercial fleet experience
10+ years of program or project management experience
10+ years of implementing processes and driving fleet standardization
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
Knowledge of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standards
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Knowledge of commercial power and non-power equipment specifications.
The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
Experience working with fast-paced teams in an ambiguous environment with pressing near-term goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including to both product and executive level leadership

The base pay for this position ranges from $140,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $300,700/year in our highest geographic market.
