Do you currently have a SECRET Clearance and are looking for a hybrid position where you can use your federal financial management and federal accounting experience with financial reporting, audit remediation and posting logic? ABOUT THIS ROLE St. Michael’s is hiring to fill an Internal Use Software Audit Remediation Analyst position to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. The candidates will provide internal use software audit readiness and sustainment support for Army clients. Assess risks and perform implementation actions to address gaps in the current guidance and financial reporting. Maintain integrated project plan (IPP) for IUS which serves as Army’s strategy to achieve audit related goals. Knowledge of DoD and Army Organizational Structures is a plus. Successful candidates must be mission-focused and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; and must be able to track all project deadlines and follow-up on their timely completion. LOCATION Duty Location. Hybrid (2-3 days on site per week) / Arlington, VA or Tysons WHO YOU ARE

Currently hold or are eligible for SECRET clearance

Have a master’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or Business Management, or

Have a bachelor's degree with a professional certification of one of the following; Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Project Management Professional (PMP).

6 years of experience with federal financial management.

3 years of federal accounting experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit readiness and sustainment support

Documenting business processes

Preparing and submitting documentation requests

Facilitate audit operations and Independent Public Accountant (IPA) coordination

Assess risk and perform remediation actions to address risks and gaps

Testing and design of effectiveness of controls

Maintain Integrated Project Plan (IPP) to assist Army achieve audit related goals
