Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative based in Arlington, Virginia. This role is primarily focused on customer service within the telecom provider industry. The chosen candidate will be tasked with maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Managing and processing customer credit applications in an efficient and accurate manner Maintaining and updating customer credit records on a regular basis Resolving customer inquiries related to credit applications and accounts Monitoring customer credit accounts to identify any irregularities or issues Taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments from customers Providing excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs and inquiries are addressed timely and effectively Collaborating with the team to improve customer service processes and procedures Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and procedures in all tasks and duties Managing confidential and sensitive information with utmost professionalism and integrity Continually updating job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work Proficiency in using computer software and online systems Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and understanding pricing. Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree preferred.
