We are seeking a Category Manager to strategically source Corrugated packaging for United States Fulfillment Center Operations needs. The person in this role will coordinate with several teams across Amazon and will interact with our most important suppliers to satisfy organizational requirements.The position will support, align, and partner with multiple teams (Operations, Packaging Engineering, Facilities, Finance, Automation, Planning) to develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings/value and improve productivity across the category.In this role you will be able to shape the future of e-commerce packaging not only in North America, but globally.Key job responsibilities
Identify, develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership
Develop inventory strategies within a high volume product category
Drive commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance
Lead supplier performance management; including improving sustainability & social responsibility
Coordinate and collaborate with global/local teams to deploy and manage the implementation of your defined strategies
Influence suppliers’ roadmaps, design, processes, technology decisions and strategies
Lead complex and cross-functional projects productivity, sustainability and innovations

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
2+ years of supply chain experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market.
