Solar Installers

Job Description:
Our Solar installers travel throughout Vermont and neighboring New Hampshire towns to install solar photovoltaic equipment and battery backup to maximize our client’s energy savings. Panel installation can be on rooftops or ground mounted racking. Installers are expected to follow the lead crew member’s directions and inform of any potential obstacles that stand in the way of successful completion. Installers should be familiar with the site’s specific building codes, checking everything from the wiring of the home to the grounding to ensure there are no violations. We look to our Solar Installers to ensure that all solar power can be safely converted and used by the property owners
Qualifications:
● Familiarity with safety procedures
● Self-driven and proactive approach
● Minimum of 1-year experience in construction industry; solar background a plus
● General knowledge of electrical principles
● Strong attention to detail
● Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
● Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
● Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
● Clean driving record and valid Driver’s license
● Excellent communication skills and a team player
