Every day can be expected to be slightly different and position could grow over time for the right person.
The main expectation is to help the main client (the wife) keep focused on her work responsibilities and health/wellness goals by filling in the blanks that take up her time throughout the day.
Client is a busy work-from-home business owner. Household consists of a couple and their two small dogs (chihuahua/dachshund -7lbs & chihuahua/mini pinscher -22lbs).
Example Responsibilities:
Start the day by making the two beds and tidying up the two bedrooms (no deep cleaning required)
Feed the dogs and take them for a 30-minute walk & play session
Walk through the home and put things away that are out of place
Track household inventory:
Make a list of needed items
Manage a weekly budget for household supplies
Order items for delivery or pick up urgent ones (e.g., milk, coffee filters, toilet paper, dog food)
Restock coffee bar & bar cart
Heat up pre-made meals, ensure client eats 2 per day (often she forgets to eat or doesn't have the appetite, but she is trying to put on muscle and workout out, so eating regularly is something she needs to work up to
Put out a pre-made healthy snacks for client or prepare & a protein shake once per day to get her to increase calorie intake.
Light household maintenance:
Client has a housekeeper who handles deep cleaning once per week on a day when you are not working
If there are a few dishes in the sink, clean them
Change pee pad if needed
Spot clean dust bunnies if noticed
If theres an accidental spill clean it
Occasionally put away laundry or run a load and client will put away
Errands & organization:
Select comfy/cute work-from-home outfits for client and put them on hangers to cutout the need for her to pick clothing in the morning
Closet organizing occasionally when they get out of order
Package e-commerce orders or returns and drop them off at USPS, UPS, Staples, or Kohl’s
Support & reminders:
Encourage client to work out, eat healthy and more frequently
Research fun ideas, then plan & schedule bi-weekly educational or self-care activities for client so she can get out of the house more often.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Start at 11:00 AM, working 5 hours per day
Proposed Compensation:
$18 per hour
5 hours/day x 3 days/week x $18/hour = $270 per week
Rate and/or hours can change over time, based on added value that the assistant brings. Would love to have someone that could help more with the businesses over time. Computer savvy is a must (knowledge of how to use Google Calendar and Gsuite).
