Job Summary:
As a member of our back of house team at Stone’s Throw, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding experience. It starts with preparing dough and ingredients, to participating in seamless service, your contributions shape the unique pairings that define us. We’re seeking individuals with a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a motivation to grow and learn.
Responsibilities:
Prepare dough and ingredients for all menu items according to recipe specifications.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and cleaning schedule for the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils throughout shift
Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the integrity of our food products.
Coordinate with front of house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Ensure food is prepared and presented according to our standards
Proper rotation, and management of product
Provide feedback to BOH Lead about the activities and needs of kitchen staff
Perform quality checks to ensure food meets standards
Effectively Communicate with team members and GM daily
Provide quality service to meet the high standards of our establishment
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with collaborative approach to teamwork.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
Sound understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Prior experience in food preparation
