As a cook you are responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving the diverse student community at Middlebury College. Our Dining Service provides three meals a day, seven days a week to 2,400 undergraduate residential students. The successful applicant will work from a chef-inspired cycle menu to ensure that the food prepared tastes delicious, is attractively presented, and safely prepared. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge of cooking methods and techniques, strong knife skills with the capacity for rapid food preparation and production as well as the ability to work cooperatively within a culinary team. Salary commensurate with experience, training, and education. We will train the right candidate. The hiring range is $18.63-23.66 per hour with a 5-day work week.
