Farmers & Foragers seeks a full-time prep cook to join our small team at our South Burlington commercial kitchen space! This kitchen feeds our waterfront 'Dockside' location in downtown Burlington, VT.
We take great pride in our commitment to sourcing local products whenever possible, prioritizing quality ingredients, and maintaining a friendly team-oriented work environment. We are looking for motivated individuals who have a desire to learn, grow, and create with us.
A typical shift includes doing dishes, completing a daily prep list, and keeping the kitchen area clean and organized. Experience with high-volume, fast-paced food prep or line cooking is preferred. There is some scheduling flexibility with AM & PM shifts available. This is a seasonal (mid-May through September) position, with the opportunity to grow with us as we venture into a new year-round operation.
Wage starts at $18/hour plus a shared tip pool from the Dockside location. Higher starting hourly and salary rates are available to more experienced candidates.
