Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform standard and complex set-up, maintenance and operation of press; optimizing press for maximum efficiency, including compliance with equipment specifications, safety and company procedures.Review and coordinate job requirements with KP and/or client specifications to ensure highest quality work.Perform press checks including effective and clear communication with customers and/or sales representatives.Mentor and train staff on all presses and related production equipment.Help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for job related functions, processes, and/or recommend method efficiencies and process improvementsOperate presses and production equipment according to safety policies, procedures and safety rules; including the use of appropriate safety equipment. Maintains safe working environment at all times.Participate in safety training to learn about new equipment and/or supplies.Review material safety data sheets (MSDS) for products used in work assignments; handle and prepare chemicals for disposal according to state and federal hazardous waste handling regulations.Other duties and special projects as assignedHigh school diploma and general education degree (GED); or 5 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Journal level pressman including how to start, prepare and color test printing requirements and knowledge of safety regulations including safe use of chemicals.Basic computer skills.Strong Verbal and written communications to follow safety rules, instructions and SOP's; effectively communicate with KP employees and customer.Review all work carefully for completeness and accuracy; pays attention to details.Identifies problems and notifies manager in a timely manner.Interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.Strong mechanical aptitude.Uses self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time effectively.Handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast environment.KP offers a competitive wage, full benefits, 401(k) with employer match, 11 Paid Company Holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO).PI235828943 Apply
